Mountain biking isn’t all high speeds and big jumps, despite what the current state of shred-edits would have you believe. What those shred-edits don’t show are the characters who make mountain biking a community and a way of life. Angi Weston might not be topping EWS podiums or pushing the limits of slopestyle competitions, but she’s someone one who’s happy when on her bike, and she spreads her love for the sport more voraciously than any shred edit. It of course helps that she’s such a talented rider, but positivity and an all-encouraging, all-encompassing attitude are key to her success and make her a favorite among students. Weston coaches, rides and lives mountain bikes. See how she makes it work in the first installment of Transition Characters.
