The Scottish Highlands is a mountainous region that doesn’t look quite like anywhere else. Towering cliffs and massive boulders sit among open expanses of lush green grassland. Despite the wet weather and deep soil, you won’t see any trees. Although if you travel to the middle of the Highlands, you might see the Loch Ness monster. And you might see some the Fort William downhill track. But look around and you’ll find plenty of undiscovered singletrack that shouldn’t be passed over.
