Pro Freeride Mountian Biker and Olympic Motocross Rider Shred the Slayground
In Dylan Starks latest video, he joins Olympic Motocross rider Axell Hodges at his home compound in San Diego, California to sample the rad features and huge lines on pit bikes, motos, and mountain bikes.
After a day of rain and perfect weather, the conditions were conducive to incredible riding and experimenting at what Hodges has dubbed the “Slayground." The compound is built into the hillside outside San Diego and has been used as an X Games BMX dirt course and a practice ground for Hodges in the offseason. With most features built to accommodate motocross, Stark can treat the area like a dirt skatepark and personal playground for mountain bikes.
Stark, Hodges, and the crew spend the day exploring the Slayground and choreographing unique lines while finding a symbiosis between MX and MTB. Dylan does not shy away from big features and admits that some of the lines at the compound are a bit scary. He left the big bike at home to reduce risks, but that doesn’t stop him from hitting some impressive clips, including a barspin off a flat drop on his e-MTB.
As is typical for Stark edits, this is a collection of clips showcasing some impressive riding, good vibes, and the beauty of Southern California during the fall and winter. Sit back and enjoy another great montage from Dylan Stark and the crew.
