We’ve all seen shred edits of New Zealand’s classics and the non-stop action of New Zealand’s local freeride event, Farm Jam, but Tyler McCaul, Ryan Howard and Tyler Bereman take a different approach. Captured on camera by Taylor Sage, this short film gives us a behind-the-scenes look at what riding is all about. We could sing praise over the merits of making edits that aren’t just riding, but Sage said it best below:
“The plan was no plan. Having a brand trust our process and allow us complete creative freedom made it easy to let the project unravel and create itself. This is a film about three friends going to New Zealand with no agenda. With social media, it’s easy to get caught up in algorithms and view counts and oftentimes authenticity is thrown to the wayside in return for a numerical profit. I don’t care about numbers, just creating something true to a sport that has given me a lot."
