Did you know there are more sheep in New Zealand than people? A lot more. About seven to one according to the latest statistics from Beef and Lamb NZ — which is a real thing. It used to be about 20 sheep to one person, but the gap has dwindled over the years. None-the-less, there are lots of sheep, which means lots of farms. So what better place to host the Farm Jam: An event for BMX, motocross and mountain biking with big jumps in a field on a farm. Sign me up. Just watch out for the mutant sheep (yes, that is a real movie. Yes, it is amazing).
