We all know that certain bikes are for certain disciplines. If you’re riding in a bike park, a downhill bike is probably going to be your best bet. On the other hand, a big bike is going to be terrible for cross-country racing. What if, however, the way you’re riding pretty much defies every known discipline? What bike to do you ride then?

Chris Akrigg is the man with a plan to thwart everything we think we know. Surely a big wheeled cross-country bike can’t ride DH well. We say things like, “that line can’t be cleared,” and “that’s not even a line.” Akrigg just laughs at our doubts and proves us wrong with his two-wheeled creativity and bike handling skills that rival that of a Zen master. It seems like no matter what the trail throws at him, Akrigg just keeps rolling.
