Atherton Diaries: The Team Heads to Croatia

The Atherton's enjoy Croatia's beaches, sun and massive rocks for the first stop of the World Cup.

Lošinj, an island in the Adriatic Sea, is known for scenic bays, rich vegetation and now rocks. Lots of rocks. The Lošinj Wold Cup course is one of the rockiest ever and it got the best of many athletes with speed-killing boulders, pinch flats and injuries. The Athertons made it away unscathed, and even claimed a few podium spots. Rachel Atherton took second in the Women's Elite, Kade Edwards took second in the Men's Junior and Mille Johnset took third in the Women's Junior. Now on to Fort William in the beginning of June.
