It may be dual slalom, but triple and triple-triple winners were the theme on a beautiful night for racing on Saturday in Monterey, California, at the Sea Otter Classic Dual Slalom. Mitch Ropelato secured a three-peat, while Jill Kintner grabbed an unprecedented ninth win in a row; both astonishing feats at arguably the most hallowed slalom date on the racing calendar. Nineteen-year-old Nik Nesteroff scored a breakout result with  second place in the men’s field, followed by Frenchman Fabien Cousinié, while in the women’s race, a multi-time repeat finals match-up saw Anneke Beerten in silver, followed by young Brit Martha Gill in the bronze position.
