Rider Caps Off His Trip To Tennessee Bike Park By Going Full Speed Into A Tree

Those Tennessee trees will sneak up on ya

Windrock Bike Park outside of Knoxville, Tennessee is not known for being a particularly easy zone to ride. The hill is a hub for current and aspiring World Cup racers and the terrain very much reflects that.

Riders don't travel to Oliver Springs for smooth and easy riding. They go there to push themselves and one side effect of that is when you push the limit, sometimes you push it too far.

Take a look at this rider teetering over that edge below.

Luckily Renaud Gregoire, the rider in the clip, was alright after that massive crash. This clip went viral enough, though, that hundreds of people who don't ride bikes have decided to chime in in the comments to tell Renaud how unsafe and stupid he was for that crash.

To all of them, crashes happen. It's the nature of this sport. Surely Renaud is feeling the repercussions of his actions so I'd imagine it feels a bit insulting to have several hundred people who don't ride bikes trying to mansplain biking to him.

The kids going to be fine and back out on the bike before any of them know it. Keep your head up, keep ripping, and next time, do try and avoid that tree.
