The Evil Uprising has been in the works–and people have been mooning over it– for what seems an eternity. Why? It’s a low-slung, slack, lightweight carbon trail bike with six inches of travel, adjustable geometry, 142×12 rear end, ISCG mounts and the potential to absolutely rip on the trails. To date, however, the Evil Uprising has become something of a unicorn–spotted here and there in the Pacific Northwest, but never captured…until now. We just received the Evil Uprising introduction video and well, you can click above to see whether it was worth the wait, or you can read Evil’s own words, which are as follows:

On one unusually sunny and warm winter day in the Pacific Northwest, we set out with only the best of intentions to film a marketing video that would hopefully be used for the launch of our new 150-millimeter carbon Uprising trail bike. You know the kind of video, scenic vistas, perfect weather and a bag of reasons why you should buy this bike.

Well… like a hyperactive 13-year old who missed a dose of Ritalin, we too lost focus and completely failed in our mission. So what we are left with is an edit of us chasing around Evil Worldcup rider Luke Strobel and wasting our only sunny weekend of winter… hope it was worth it..
