Rider Tries Everything To Keep Up With World Champ
For racers, there is no greater honor than a visit from the best rider in the world to their local trails.
Enduro racer Seth Sherlock had this experience when the World Cup Overall Champion Richie Rude came to Cumberland, BC. Watch Seth follow the champ below.
In this video, Sherlock struggled to stay on the wheel of Richie Rude, who was riding the trail blind. Rude was so fast that Sherlock felt sketchy on his own trails trying to stay with him. Sherlock had the following to say in his caption.
The pair of Enduro racers are on Vancouver Island for a camp with their mutual sponsor Performx Training.
Seth Sherlock is a professional enduro racer who lives in Qualicum Beach, half an hour down the road from Cumberland.
Sherlock has had an interesting career path. As a junior, he raced mostly downhill, even winning a World Cup. In 2022 Sherlock made the switch to focus more on enduro, though he still races both disciplines.
It is cool to see an athlete be versatile and find success in multiple disciplines.
