Pro Reflects On The One Year Anniversary Of The Crash That Changed His Life
By now we should all know that head injuries are very serious business. Traumatic brain injuries can happen to anyone in a split second from the most innocuous mistakes.
Sam Hodgson will be the first to tell you how quickly and indiscriminately a head injury can change your life. He was knocked out from a relatively small crash and has been dealing with a long road to recovery ever since.
Take a look at Sam's crash from a year ago and his words on the recovery process below.
"One year ago today I had the worst crash of my life. What seemed like such a small mistake resulted in such an unexpected healing process, I was knocked unconscious for 8 minutes. I have suffered such a crazy roller coaster since.. breaking my back and seeing Vero go through so many injuries, this year has definitely been a tough one. But now I feel stronger than ever! From time to time I still feel the effects, but now I have equipped myself with the ability to overcome them. Thank you to the people that saved me that day and every day since. And if you are going through something or you have a mate that doesn’t seem themselves; A problem shared is a problem halved.
