Nicholi Rogatkin Lands Monster Jump On A Hardtail
Darkfest, the huge freeride event has kicked off in South Africa. Riders are sessioning the enormous jumps and the videos coming out of it are insane.
Watch Slopestyle pro Nicholi Rogatkin hit the enormous step up on his hardtail dirt jumper below.
For context, most of the riders at darkfest choose to ride their full-suspension mountain bikes on the enormous jump. Rogatkin’s choice to ride his dirt jumper means that he has far less cushion and room for error.
Thankfully, Nicholi has a decorated slopestyle career where he was no stranger to going huge on a hardtail.
Nicholi Rogatkin was a pioneer in the world of slopestyle. In 2017, he landed the first-ever 1440 in competition. See the amazing video below.
Since that time, Rogatkin has taken a bit of a step back and has begun commentating at Slope events. Still, he brushes off the bike when he wants to, and going big at Darkfest is one of those times.
