Earlier this week, a container full of 160 Rocky Mountain bikes was broken into, and every single bike was taken. The container was on the ground of Rocky Mountain’s warehouse in British Columbia. All the bikes stolen were 2019 models waiting to be received into the warehouse before being sent out to a network of dealers in Canada.
"We are very disappointed with this situation, and the impact that it has on our IBD network. We have dealers across Canada that were expecting to receive their order from us in the coming weeks," says Raymond Dutil, CEO of Rocky Mountain.
The investigation is being handled by the Vancouver Police Department. A link is provided here with a complete list of bikes stolen, along with serial numbers. Rocky Mountain is urging dealers that come across any of the bikes with matching serial numbers (or serial numbers removed) to contact firstname.lastname@example.org so that the information can be relayed to the police.
