After two multi-hour wind delays, Red Bull Rampage 2024 saw its men's podium confirmed in the early evening, as Canadian Brandon Semenuk finally managed to take his second run after crashing while attempting a flip whip during his first run. Worth the wait in the end, Semenuk stomped his line - which included a consequential tail whip and flip whip - and ended the day with a score of 92.73.

Poland’s Szymon Godziek was in first for much of the day, after he laced a clean first run that included a 95-foot drop. He finished the day in second after Semenuk's second run. American Tyler McCaul, whose line included a demanding 74-foot canyon gap, rounded out the podium in third with a score of 90.66.

And the awards at Red Bull Rampage 2024 went beyond the podium: Brendan Fairclough won the Samsung Galaxy Trailblazer Award, Bienvenido Aguado Alba won the BFGoodrich Tires Toughness Award, after a hard slam the day before the comp practicing his canyon gap, Ethan Nell won the rider-voted McGazza Spirit Award, Brandon Semenuk and his team won the DECKED Digger Award, and Tom Van Steenbergen won the Utah Sports Commission Best Trick Award for an absolutely bonkers front flip off the biggest drop in his line.

The day wasn't without a bit of heartache: Cam Zink took a brutal fall that saw him airlifted out of the venue - though he was seen throwing horns from the helicopter, leaving some room for hope that the storied athlete is in okay spirits - and Brendan Fairclough made a statement during the wind-hold explaining that he would not be taking a second run, the disappointment in his voice in light of his low score mirroring the sentiment of the many "boos" echoing the venue after the judges made their decision.
