Strong winds blew in after the first round of competition at Red Bull Rampage near Virgin, Utah. After flatting at the beginning of his first run, Darren Berrecloth dropped in during the gusts, but most of the riders felt the winds were still too strong, and five of the top ten–including winner Kurt Sorge–refused their second run. This is Sorge’s second Rampage win; he first tasted victory in 2012.
