Cami Nogueira Takes Painful Slam At Chilean Urban Downhill Race

Pavement is not soft.

Urban Downhill can be a painful sport. Rather than dirt which at least have a little give, urban downhillers crash onto concrete.

Cami Nogueira had one such crash at Red Bull Cerro Abajo. Watch multiple angles of the fall below.

In this video, Cami came up short on the shark fin and slammed into the pavement. Though her foot was hurt in the fall, she said she was all good.

What is notable about Urban Downhill is how little room for error the features have. The wooden landings don't have enormous case pads and coming up short could be disastrous. Thankfully, these races do not seem to have terrible injuries.

Though Cami did not race in the finals, she still made her mark on the course. Watch Nogueira charge down a stairset like it is nothing below.

Cami Nogueira is an Argentine freerider. She has appeared at many marquee freeride events such as Red Bull Formation, Red Bull Hardline, Yoann Barelli’s Tour De Gnar, and Hannah Bergemann’s Hangtime. Nogueira rides for Propain Bikes and lives in Aspen, Colorado.
