Gulevich, Shandro and Vanderham Headline Dakine’s Apparel Team

DAKINE, the leader in action sports accessories, is proud to announce that three of its top mountain bikers, Geoff Gulevich, Andrew Shandro, and Thomas Vanderham, have signed-on to ride DAKINE bike clothing in addition to its packs and gloves.

Building upon the success of the jersey program, DAKINE has added a new line of bike shorts for spring '09. The DAKINE designers work closely with the team in order to make the best product possible. "DAKINE is a great company that has supported me for a number of years," says Vanderham. "I'm stoked to work more closely with them on the new line of bike clothing."

DAKINE's spring '09 bike short collection includes three men's styles. The 8 TRACK and SYNCLINE both feature moisture wicking polyester mesh liner, back stretch panel, inner leg vents and a gusseted crotch for increased range of motion. The CHORUS is a longer, six pocket cargo shell short. Each short also features double stitched seams and triple stitched critical seams for added durability.

Jerseys for the season are available in short-sleeve, ≤ sleeve, and sleeveless versions with subtle all-over prints. Featuring moisture wicking bird eye polyester, anti-bacterial fabric treatment and an eyewear chamois sewn into the interior sideseam, all jerseys are designed with performance and comfort in mind.
