The second stop of the Big Mountain Enduro Series begins today in Crested Butte, Colorado. The 2013 Big Mountain Enduro Series consist of five events- Angel Fire/Taos, Crested Butte, Keystone, Durango and Moab. Each event consists of five to eight timed stages over the course of two days. There will be untimed transition stages that require pedaling to the next stage, taking a chair lift or via shuttle. The racer with the overall fastest combined timed stages will win the event.

The Crested Butte Enduro will be something to remember for racers and specators alike. This special place holds the longest running bike festival in the country, is home to the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame and truly is a real mountain town.

The second round of the Big Mountain Enduro series coincides with Crested Butte Bike Week and racers will compete on the finest trails Evolution Bike Park has to offer.
