A Day In The Life Of A Freelance Mountain Biker
It is a cool thing that in this day and age, riders can make a living creating content. One such creator made a video of what a day is like for him.
Watch Matthew Tongue’s day(ish) in the life video below.
In this video, Matthew Tongue wakes up, dials in his bike, and then goes out and absolutely shreds. That honestly sounds like the life!
This video was filmed in Pemberton, British Columbia. Though most people driving north on Highway 99 stop at the Whistler Bike Park, those who drive the extra half hour north to check out the trails Pemby has to offer are never disappointed.
Even though Pemberton is only an hour from the coastal lush forests of Squamish, the biome is completely different and the trails are very sandy, offering a vastly different experience than the coast.
Pemberton is known for its crazy features and trails. In this video, Tongue makes light work of them, including the insane alt line on the Cop Killer chute. Read more about the chute below.
Matthew Tongue rides for Kona Bicycles.
