Trail Center Destroys Event's Jump Line Despite "Multi Year Contract"

"Flat Out is not a Location it‘s a Movement"

There was a bit of bad news for freeride fans and riders today as Slovenia's Batt Crew, the architects of the Fest Series-esque event Flat Out Days, announced that Trail Center Kočevje, the event's host venue, has decided to pull the plug on the event despite a "multi-year contract" with the organizers.

Take a look at the crew's official statement below.

We don't know much about the details of how this deal fell apart but there is an air of bitterness to the crew's announcement.  After all, I can't imagine it's easy to find a venue to support building massive 60+ foot booters for the world's best freeriders.

This announcement comes when we would normally be expecting to find out the dates of the 2024 iteration of the event. Riders have taken to the comment sections to express their support of the "movement" that is Flat Out Days. It is hard to imagine that this event will stay down for long given the amount of support they have among the global freeride community. Steve Schnieder, an absolute renaissance man of a freerider said this about the cancellation, "Flat Out is not a Location it‘s a Movement."

At the moment, we are bummed to see that another freeride festival has been displaced and we hope they can find the forever home they are after. We have reached out to the Batt Crew for comment and will update the article when they respond.
