Amateur Lives Every Rider's Worst Nightmare
Getting bucked off the lip of a jump is every rider's absolute worst nightmare. There is no more hopeless feeling than your front wheel dropping off the lip of a jump and your momentum being hurled forward toward the ground.
Unfortunately, even for the most experienced, that can happen and it almost always does at the least opportune times. Take a look at that very thing happening below.
It looks like this rider slipped a pedal at the absolute worst possible time and was instantly sent out the front door as soon as he launched off the lip. There really isn't much you can do about that, unfortunately. At the end of the day, you have to just chalk things like that up to bad luck.
It's good and bad because, on one hand, there really wasn't anything he could have done, but on the other, fate is a cruel mistress and he didn't deserve to get tossed that hard.
He was smart to eject, it looked like this incident would have ended much worse for him if he had tried to hold onto that. Don't get me wrong though, this by no means looked like a fun time, it just could have been much worse.
It looks like the rider underwent some medical treatment and is on the road to recovery. We wish him the best of luck in his recovery and hope to see him back out sending huge gaps soon.
