Dave McMillan Achieves Recovery Goal 10 Weeks Post Accident
Dave McMillan took the worst slam of his life in the weeks leading up to the inaugural Red Bull Hardline: Tasmania. He was guinea pigging the massive 80-plus foot jumps at the bottom of the course and came up short resulting in a litany of serious injuries and a very long road to recovery ahead.
Take a look at a flyby view of that road to recovery below.
As he says in his caption, his goal was to be back on a bike in some capacity by the three month mark. Dave shared on April 10th that he achieved his recovery goal 10 weeks after the accident.
This is a perfect example of what E-bikes can do to aid in recovery from injury. If it weren't for his E-bike, Dave would likely not have been able to truck on up to the top of that mountain and ring in his major step in recovery.
Granted he probably could have ridden a bike still, but being able to go somewhere important to him makes the milestone all the more special.
