One of the best shows of our sport is just around the corner, with Crankworx Rotorua kicking things off March 19-24. This year, there will be three Crankworx events, the first being Rotorua, followed by Innsbruck June 12-16 and finally Whistler August 9-18.

Viewers can look forward to all the usual events like the Pump Track Challange, Speed and Style and Slopestyle. Held outside of Whistler for the first time last year, all three stops for the 2019 Crankworx will host a Dual Slalom event, with the eventual Crankworx Dual Slalom World Champions awarded at the end of the season. Last year we saw pro podiums topped by a BMX Olympian, a 4X World Champ, World Cup racers, and OG freerider Kyle Straight, who took the top step in Whistler.

"Slalom combines almost everything that I enjoy. Head-to-head racing,  jumping and berms, all on a shortened course that fans can see," says Kyle Strait, who's been competing at Crankworx since it began in 2004, and has won both Red Bull Joyride and Red Bull Rampage.
