World Cup Champion Got In Over His Head With This Race
You know a race is serious business when one of the best racers in the world jokes about having second thoughts about throwing his name in the hat for it.
Red Bull Hardline, widely regarded as the hardest downhill race in the world, is running a second stop in Maydena this year and Loic Bruni secured himself a spot.
Loic Bruni is one of the most successful and well known World Cup racers of this generation and if he's having reservations about racing the course, that should paint a pretty clear picture of how rowdy it is. Take a look at his reaction to his invite below.
The fact that Bruni is stressing about this says a lot about how rowdy this race is going to be. Maybe he got some inside information on the brand new Maydena course or maybe he is just inferring how gnarly it is based on the OG Hardline's reputation, but either way, it spells for a very exciting week to be a Free-Racing fan.
The big show is set to go down the second to last week in February, so a little less than six months before the Welsh version we all know very well. Stay tuned here for coverage of the brand new race when the time comes.
