Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz (MBOSC) has partnered with Ibis Cycles for another “Ante Up for Trails” raffle. The winner walks away with their choice of a $9,500 Ibis. Donors receive one entry for ever $5 donated to MBOSC between now and May 29. Donations can be made here.

The proceeds from the campaign will go toward MBOSC’s ongoing advocacy, trail construction and maintenance. Three projects are currently in the works:

  • Three additional miles to Glenwood Open Space Preserve in Scotts Valley. The multi-use trail will work in partnership with the Land Trust of Santa Cruz County, giving local schools and community a new place to recreate.
  • Rerouting eroded West Engelsmans Fireroad at Wilder Ranch into a mile of sustainably built trail this fall.
  • And, the big one. A new 30-plus mile trail network in the San Vicente Redwoods. The plan will be submitted to Santa Cruz County for approval this spring. Thirty new miles of trail! Sign me up.

The current Ante Up for Trails campaign will be open until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29. Don’t miss out on your chance for a new $9,500 Ibis of your choice. I mean have you seen the new Ripmo?
