It was April of 2017 when Adam Miller, founder of Why Cycles and Borealis fat bikes, whispered in our ears about the high-end carbon suspension bike brand he was starting. We were intrigued. Some months later, when Miller sent pictures of bikes under riders, we got anxious. Then more anxious. As the next year passed, we wondered if his curvaceous carbon beauties would ever make it to market. But, alas Revel Bikes is here.
The new brand made its public debut at the Sedona Mountain Bike Festival, and the expo was buzzing with talk about Revel’s creations. We had a chance to swing a leg over the Rascal, a 130-mil-travel 29er, and, while we didn’t get a full ride in before the rain skunked us, we got a glimpse of what the the bike is all about. And we’re anxious for more.
