Long-travel bikes are all the rage these days. We talk about them a lot, for good reason. They are more capable than ever before—both up and down. The rate at which they’re simultaneously getting better at both climbing and descending, seems to be following Moore’s Law—it’s kind of mind-boggling. But they’re still long-travel bikes with lots of squish, and many, if not most of us don’t really need that much suspension travel, no matter how efficient it is. We tell ourselves we want it, but in the end, a lot of us wind up choosing bikes with moderate travel.
The Fezzari Signal Peak is the kind of bike that a lot of us will wind up on, and because it’s so aggressively priced, a lot of us actually can.
