SRAM today has introduced a new carbon version of its trail wheels. The carbon SRAM Roam 50 wheels feature a 25-millimeter internal rim width and a hookless, tubeless-ready profile. The wheelsets come laced with 24 bladed, double-butted spokes of identical length all the way around on both front and rear.
These 29-inch hoops are compatible with all the various axles from QR to Boost via threadless side caps that can be swapped by hand. SRAM’s hubs feature 4 pawls and a 26-tooth ratchet ring that yields 52-point, 6.9-degree engagement and are compatible with SRAM XD and Shimano cassettes.
