From four-cross (4X) to downhill World Cup racer, Johannes Fischbach has certainly had an interesting journey as a professional.
The 25-year-old Ghost rider switched to downhill racing in 2012 after 4X was taken off the World Cup calendar and replaced by the cross-country eliminator.
It has by no means been an easy switch to downhill for Johannes with 2012 being very much a learning year.
Recent results have earmarked him as one to watch for 2014. A 9th place at the World Championships at Pietermaritzburg was followed up with a 17th place in Hafjell last weekend at the World Cup.
In this latest episode of The Guts Behind the Glory, Johannes talks about the change to downhill racing and adapting to the different challenges it brings as well as his future aims in the sport.
