A group of seasoned riders and super-talented groms gathered yesterday at the Post Office jumps in Aptos, California, for the annual 831 Jump Jam finale of the Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Festival. It was a bittersweet occasion, as the jumps are due to be torn down later this year to make way for a shopping center. This video and photos are a salute to the dawning days of these jumps and the people who built and cared for them.
