Riders Spencer Paxson, Joe Schwartz and Sarah Butsch, along with photographer John Gibson and Kona’s production partners, Sherpas Cinema, set out to capture the true essence of Kona’s collection of 2013 all mountain bikes, our most diverse to date. On perfect singletrack, through beautiful alpine wilderness and lush forests, watch as the Process DL, Abra Cadabra and Satori are put to the test.

The new 2013 Process DL is all about annihilating the down. Watch longtime Kona rider Joe Schwartz rip from mountain top to forest floor in full flow state.

The new G3 Magic Link Abra Cadabra, with air auxiliary shock, more agressive geometry and improved rear triangle, takes Kona Team rider Spencer Paxson to singletrack shredsville.

Sarah Butsch rides the 2013 Satori with power and grace, transporting our 130mm 29-inch wheel beauty to enlightenment (that’s what Satori means in Japanese).

For five glorious days in September 2012, Kona ventured deep into the trails surrounding Revelstoke, BC. As an emerging hotspot in the mountain bike world, the Revelstoke Cycling Association has done an amazing job of both building and maintaining singletrack that ranges from smooth XC out-and-backs, to rough and rugged alpine epics, right down to incredible forest flow. Located half way between Vancouver and Calgary on the Trans Canada Highway, if you haven’t been, put this funky mountain town on your bucket list. There’s enough riding here to last a lifetime, let alone a week-long adventure in the heart of summer. All photos by John Gibson.

One of the coolest rides in town is the Frisbee Ridge Trail, a rip roaring out-and-back just minutes from town.

More insane Frisbee Ridge epicness.

A must-do ride for any visit to the Revelstoke area is the Keystone-Standard Basin trail. All mountain defined. Here Spencer dives into a big mountain rock garden.

Schwartz dives into his freeride roots at about 7,500 feet above sea level.

Of course, any world class riding destination wouldn’t hold up if it didn’t have epic forest riding. Here Sarah locks into some Satori love on the amazing trail network of Mount MacPherson.

And it doesn’t stop there. Air? Of course there’s tons of air. Captain Schwartz pilots a beauty.
