Video: Cold Rolled–Snow Biking in the “UP”

Fall is coming. Heck, it might even be here already if you happen to reside somewhere outside the sun belt. And what comes next? If you live in Michigan’s remote Upper Peninsula (“the UP”), the answer is snow. Lots and lots of snow.

That, however, doesn’t stop the riders up in Marquette from riding. The town is home to the “Snow Bike Route”, a 15-mile trail featuring berms, rollers and fast descents…tailor made for, yup, fat bikes. Last winter the guys at Clear & Cold Cinema made a video about the winter riding in Marquette, which should roll out in November. In the meantime, here’s a teaser.
