Colorado suspension company MRP has launched a new all-mountain fork, the Stage. The fork was designed to give riders revolutionary control on the trail and revolutionary controls at their fingertips. Handbuilt in Colorado, every fork is assembled to the highest standards with extra love – including individually sized bushings and 100 percent dyno testing to ensure every fork's performance.
MRP’s Stage boasts Ramp Control, a first-of-its-kind adjustment that allows you to tune the ending stroke curve of the air spring; EqualAir, a dual-chamber air spring delivering extreme sensitivity for unbroken traction up and down the mountain; and an 8-position compression adjustment that supports a wide-range of tuning. Magnetic compression valving is also said to ensure an efficient and comfortable ride in any setting.
The Stage chassis utilizes 34-millimeter stanchions, an oversized magnesium casting and MRP's own QtapeR15 axle system.
The Stage comes in three different wheel sizes: 26, 27.5 and 29 inch, with up to 170 millimeters of travel for the 26/27.5-inch option and up to 150 millimeters of travel for the 29-inch. The 26/27.5 inch fork weighs 4.3 pounds, with only a 0.1 pound increase for the 29-inch.
The Stage is available now for $969. A full list of distributors can be found on MRPbike.com.
