A veritable trail boom is underway in Northwest Arkansas

Despite remarkable trail development in many corners, the southern states still aren’t typically considered riding destinations, and so our Bible of Bike Tests crew really didn’t know what to expect when we landed in Bentonville, Northwest Arkansas. What we found was a welcoming and vibrant mountain-bike community that’s building high-quality trails at a rate we’ve never witnessed before, thanks to an unheard of level of public and private support.

The yield is a rapidly expanding assortment of trails with features ranging from technical rocks and roots that’ll challenge even seasoned New England riders to buttery, jump-filled flow that’s guaranteed to evoke hoots and hollers. With miles added seemingly by the minute, it’d be hard to get bored of the riding in Northwest Arkansas.
