Tarek Rasouli has suffered a spinal injury in Vancouver, British Columbia, and is currently recovering from surgery. It is unclear whether he will be able to walk again. Race Face/Roach's Chris Gagen sent this memo to the bike industry:
"Dear co-workers and friends,
After filming on Monday [July 22] for Kranked V, Tarek Rasouli, a Race Face/Rocky Mountain sponsored rider, had a serious spinal injury while attempting a large jump. Tarek was airlifted down to Vancouver General Hospital, where he underwent surgery. I spent the day with him yesterday and he was in relatively good spirits considering his condition.

"The severity of his injury won't be known until he's recovered from his surgery -- the doctors can't say at this time if he will regain the use of his legs. Tarek will have a long road to recovery -- our thoughts and prayers are with him during this difficult time."
