Snow Summit NORBA National Broadcast on Fox Sports Net and Live on 1010TV.com
Bike magazine sponsors the return of DH Mania posted May 18, 2004
Team Big Bear, Blue Wolf and 1010TV plan to broadcast the NORBA National Mountain Bike Race at Snow Summit, California, on Fox Sports West. The broadcast is set for May 29 at 9:30 a.m. PST. A highlight of this year's television show will be the Bike-sponsored return of Downhill Mania, a downhill race putting four downhill racers on the same course at one time. Look for current U.S. National Champions Eric Carter and Marla Streb to do well in this unique four-up format.
The NORBA National Mountain Bike Series is USA Cycling's premier national mountain bike series. The series features cross-country, downhill, slalom and short-track racing. Professional racers from the U.S. as well as many foreign professionals compete for points throughout the summer.
Snow Summit Mountain Resort has hosted a NORBA National race for the past 16 years. This year's event, on the weekend of May 21- 23, will feature 40 professional mountain bike teams as well as racing for all amateur categories. Former U.S. Olympic Team Member Tinker Juarez will be at Snow Summit to compete in the marathon race.

Along with the TV broadcast, 1010TV will produce two live webcasts of the Snow Summit event. These webcasts will bring the viewer a unique perspective on racing as well as what goes on in the team pit area.
