Park City Mountain Resort opens today; Deer Valley and Canyons to follow suit
Summer is in full-swing, and with the warm weather comes spinning lifts and rowdy trails.
Park City Mountain Resort in Park City, Utah opens up to bikes today with the official opening of Town Lift. Crescent Lift will open June 21, which will open more than 70 miles of lift-accessed terrain on the town’s centralized resort. Lifts will cease regular operation hours September 1.
The two other resorts near Park City, Deer Valley and Canyons Resort will open next weekend.
Deer Valley is slated to open June 13 and will keep their lifts spinning through Labor Day. Three lifts serve biking at Deer Valley, Silver Lake Express at the base, Sterling Express at mid-mountain and Ruby Express at Empire Canyon. Many Deer Valley trails connect with the Park City network of singletrack, providing access to 400 miles of trails.
The Canyons will open its bike park June 12 and will close early October. High Meadow and Short Cut chairlifts access 10 trails that include jibs, jumps and berms.
