Crankbrothers went back to the drawing board with its popular Mallet pedals. The top-tier Mallet 3 now sports a two-piece aluminum-polycarbonate platform, investment-cast steel wings, adjustable traction pins and both needle (inner) and cartridge (outer) bearings. The new pedal weighs in at 435 grams and is backed by a five-year warranty.
