Video: Inaugural Sierra Enduro Challenge 2014 set for Oct. 23-27
Unique race only allows 65 competitors
With a finite number of spots, only 65 riders will be competing in the Sierra Enduro Challenge in the beautiful mountain ranges of the Spanish Sierra Nevados, high above the town of Bubion October 23-27. There will be 16 stages over the course of three days.
“We want this event to be remembered as ‘the peoples race’ where the participants came first, above everything. We would love you to come on board and experience this inaugural event alongside us,” Lee Jordan, event co-founder.
Battles will be fought on every type of trail imaginable, from runaway straights to 180-degree switchbacks to deep canyon riverbeds. These trails have everything, except grooming.
Of the 65 spots, 50 are in the amateur category. If you are interested in competing in this unique enduro, apply online at sierraenduro.com. This is a first come, first serve event.
