Cannondale celebrates Lefty’s 15th birthday

Join one of several west coast parties planned for the polarizing single-stanchion fork


Cannondale is kicking off the LeftyTour, a series of grassroots events to celebrate the 15th anniversary of its innovative Lefty fork technology, as well as support the brand’s involvement as the official bike sponsor of the US Cup.

“When Lefty was developed 15 years ago, it was completely new and unique and what better way to celebrate than out on the trails with Cannondale fans and pro athletes,” said Dave Manchester, SVP, sales & marketing of Cycling Sports Group, Cannondale’s parent company.

The LeftyTour will hit several of the west coast’s best riding spots. Consumers are invited to join Cannondale for complimentary food, drinks, demo bike rides and the chance to ride with mountain bike legends:
Saturday, March 7
– Auburn State Rec Area, Auburn, CA
– 10am – 4pm

Sunday, March 29
– Bonelli Park, San Dimas CA
– 11am – 4pm
– Special guests: Tinker Juarez & Sho-Air Team

– Special guest: Mark Weir

Also, at select US Cup events, riders are invited to visit the Lefty Lounge, where they will be able to cheer on Cannondale Factory Racing riders to the finish line, while also checking out the latest product, enjoying some of Los Angeles’ best food trucks, prizes and more. Marco Fontana and Mani Fumic will be racing March 14 at Bonelli Park and March 21 at Fontana Park, while Henrique Avancini will be racing April 11 at Bonelli Park.The Sho-Air Cannondale team will have a full roster at each of the US Cups events.
