Kokanee Crankworx’s newest event, The Ultimate Pump Track Challenge, will take place on a newly completed course at the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. The track promises to be a crowd-pleaser with a “course chock full of berms, doubles, and gaps” says Crankworx General Manager, Jeremy Roche. “This is going to be one intense show.”
The Ultimate Pump Track Challenge, slated for August 12, is preceded by a qualifying event to be held on July 25. Presented by the Whistler Off-Road Cycling Association, the qualifier, held at the Whistler Mountain Bike Park, will award wildcard spots to the fastest male and female riders, guaranteeing them a spot in the August 12 event.
The Ultimate Pump Track Challenge will feature a line-up of 32 men and 8 women who will advance through head-to-head heats in search of the $750 cash prize for the top male and female riders. A $500 dollar cash grab will be awarded for the best antics dropped during the event.
