Wade Simmons Goes Home
Wade Simmons and Rocky Mountain Bicycles return to the Sun Peaks Bike Park in Simmons’ hometown of Kamloops, British Columbia, on August 7 for the third annual Rocky Mountain Homecoming. Simmons won’t waste any time catching up with the fam though, as he’ll be busy ripping on the trails he grew up on. Riders with a Rocky Mountain in their stable can ride with Simmons for free, but there’s a catch, only the first 30 riders on a Rocky Mountain will receive a free lift ticket, so get in line early, the park opens at 9:30 a.m.

Slept in? Don’t ride a Rocky? Don’t worry. All riders in the park with a valid lift ticket or season pass can enter to win a Rocky Mountain Flow 2 and other raffle prizes.
While riders enjoy the park with Simmons on Saturday, they’d be smart to keep a little in the tank for Sunday, which features the Gummy Bear DH. With Simmons on hand to watch the race, riders will likely think twice about hitting the brakes.
