IMBA Introduces Six New Epic Rides

imba-0038-epics-logoThe International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) has just released details on the 2010 class of IMBA Epic rides. Culled from across the country, IMBA has chosen six trails as being worthy of their “Epic” designation. Ranging from Hurricane Cliffs in Hurricane, Utah, to the MoCo Loop in Montgomery County, Maryland, the rides were chosen from nominations provided by IMBA clubs, chapters and patrols, along with individual members.

IMBA’s Epic Rides are part of their Model Trail program, whose designations include Epics, Gateway Trails, Ride Centers, and the newly designated Flow Country Trails, a concept pioneered by Hans Ray.

Epics Class of 2010:
Black Rock/Falls City, Oregon

Fresno-Saucedo Loop/Big Bend Ranch State Park, Texas

Hurricane Cliffs/Hurricane, Utah

MoCo Loop/Montgomery County, Maryland
