Andrel Reid Enterprises, in conjunction with thebase.ca and Concept Lounge, will be showing Anthill Films latest production, Follow Me, on April 26th in Calgary, Alberta. The event begins at Canyon Meadows Cinemas at 7pm, with tickets going for $12 at the door. In case you need a humanitarian excuse to see an awesome film, half of the proceeds will go to Right To Play, which supports healthy living through sports for underprivileged kids in other countries.
Last year Reid attempted a huge four-film festival in celebration of freeride biking, but due to some last-minute snags with producers and the like, he's decided this year to focus on showing the "one film you know will do well, from the Canadian boys." It's true that Anthill films (formerly The Collective, of Roam and Seasons) has earned a reputation— with stunning high-definition footage, talented riders and that good old Canadian vibe, it's hard to leave one of their films not stoked to ride.
Among others, thebase.ca (a local mountain bike camp and touring company) will be offering awesome door prizes, with a four person Moose Mountain shuttle trip being raffled off as well. Join your fellow bike junkies at Concept Lounge to have a beverage or two after the show.
