e*thirteen Launches XCX.ST

Source: The Hive

The Hive recently announced the release of the XCX.ST 1-by-10 (or 9) chain guide. The XCX.ST mounts to the bike via the seat tube as opposed to the XCX or MRP's 1.X guide, which both mount around the bottom bracket similar to E-type front deraillleurs. Using a seat tube mount opens the door to riders with BB30 or other non-conventional bottom brackets.

Like other front derailleur seat tube clamp styles, the XCX.ST comes in either a high- or low-mount design. The guide can be adjusted to fit most chainlines, and can be mounted to frames with 28.6, 31.8 or 34.9 seat-tube diameters.

Look for the XCX.ST to be stocked on the Specialized bicycles' 2011 Stumpjumper Expert Carbon 29 Evo R.
