Michal Prokop and Emmeline Ragot were tops in a bit of a sleepy Giant Slalom event at Crankworx.

Giant Slalom went down in a rather unspectacular fashion on a scorching hot day in the Whistler Bike Park. The baking heat had most spectators hiding in the GLC or the Longhorn. The format was simple: two heats with the time difference dictating the winner. But after a long, hot day, rider and spectator interest was pretty beat down. Michal Prokop took time away from BMX and 4X training to rally the Whistler Bike Park and take the win in the men’s GS race over Danny Hart, while Emmeline Ragot took the win over Melissa Buhl in the women’s final.
Rob Williams begins his day with a safety check on the 130+ chairs of the Fitzsimmons Express, making sure that the ride up is safer than the ride down.
