The good folks behind the BC Bike Race are revisiting their colonial roots, hiring French intern Julien Prenez. A marketing student at the Ecole Supérieure des Technologies et des Affaires (italicized because its French), Prenez will head the BCBR European marketing campaign and conduct an ongoing blog detailing his adventures in British Columbia.
“It’s my goal to study sports/events marketing and to do it in BC where so much amazing riding is happening. The BC Bike Race, as an event and as a location is like a dream come true”, said Prenez. “Already I have ridden my bike with Dean, Dre and the whole team, dropped in at the Whistler bike park and shredded the North Shore.”
The exploits of a young Frenchman, cutting his teeth in the BC Wilderness will surely make for an interesting read, and this is where you will be able to follow his internship, and more interestingly his immersion into North American mountain bike culture.
