Ryan Berrecloth Gets Spanked
Ryan Berrecloth has re-signed with Spank Bikes on an expanded sponsorship package. This year Berrecloth will be sporting the Tweet Tweet Dirtjump frame, Spank’s 2010 EVO line of rims, including Spike EVO 35AL DH Rims, Tweet Tweet EVO 30AL DJ Rims, and Subrosa EVO All Mountain Rims, as well as rocking the complete line of Spank saddles, including the Subrosa, Tweet Tweet, and Starblast. Berrecloth is also sponsored by Knolly bikes, which provides the rider with full-suspension frames.

Trek-Brentjens Team Pairs Up With Lezyne
The Trek-Brentjens race team will use some Lezyne products this year. Brentjens met with Lezyne during the Eurobike tradeshow last year and Lezyne jumped on the opportunity to work with the former cross-country world champion and Olympic medalist. Bart Brentjens has assembled a talented team based out of the Netherlands that will compete on the World Cup circuit and in most major European mountain bike events.
Tomac Mountain Bikes Sponsors Dean Racing Development
Dean Racing Development (DRD) announced the creation of a new professional mountain bike race team, with Tomac as its bike sponsor. “It’s a well balanced team,” stated Dylan Dean. “We have experienced riders, whom I have had the privilege of working with in the past, and a couple of young talents who can be developed in the perfect environment. Our focus will be here in North America, primarily the Pro Gravity Tour, where I am confident that we can perform extremely well. I look forward towards this inaugural season & working with our new sponsors!”
Bontrager Named Official Tire Sponsor of Trek World Racing XC Team
Bontrager confirmed that it will augment its existing support of Trek World Racing and become the official tire sponsor of the 2010 Trek World Racing XC Team. Bontrager, who in 2009 sponsored TWR with wheels, components and clothing, becomes the team’s first tire sponsor to date and sole rubber sponsor for the crosscountry racers in 2010. Bontrager is owned by Trek.
