The final race in the Socal Endurance 12 Hour Race Series is quickly approaching. The November 13, 2010 event will be held at its usual Vail Lake Resort location in Temecula, California.
The last event in the three-race series pulled over 170 teams and solo riders, which included big-time endurance racers like Tinker Juarez. The course features a 10-mile loop with about 1,300 feet of elevation change and plenty of singletrack.
If riding your bike for 12 hours with hundreds of like-minded people isn’t your cup of tea do it for a greater cause. The event will have a ‘Bike for Bender’ category, which will help support Rob Bender and his fight against extragonadal germ cell cancer. Those who can’t make it to the event can donate to the Bike for Bender cause here (and get a chance to win an Intense Tazer frame).
